The Rapier Loom Display Warp Stop Motion Warp Break Stop Device is a standard safety and quality control component for all rapier looms, consisting of a stop frame, a stop plate, and electrical/photoelectric sensors.
1、 Installation position (loom body)
Stop frame: installed between the back beam of the loom and the warp frame (a necessary passage for warp yarn to exit from the weaving shaft and enter the opening mechanism).
Stop warp: Each warp thread passes through a stop warp, which is suspended under normal tension; When the menstrual cycle is broken/loosened, the falling of the stop plate triggers the shutdown.
Sensing/Control: The warp stop rod (conductive/insulated), photoelectric sensor, and signal line are connected to the main control system of the weaving machine to achieve instant shutdown and display of the warp break point positioning.
2、 Main application scenarios (by industry/fabric type)
1. Conventional textile weaving (the most extensive)
Cotton spinning, synthetic fiber, blended fabric factory: flat fabric, poplin, khaki, denim, corduroy, etc., essential for all rapier looms.
Home textile fabrics: curtains, bedding, sandpaper, decorative fabrics (more dependent on wide and high-density fabrics).
Clothing fabrics: shirts, jackets, casual fabrics, ensuring that the fabric has no missing warp or jumping defects.
2. Industrial textiles (high demand scenarios)
Industrial filter cloth, geotextile, and tarpaulin: with high warp density and high tension, breaking warp can easily result in a large amount of waste.
Automotive interior fabrics and seat belt base fabrics require extremely high uniformity and strength consistency of the fabric surface.
Conveyor belts, canvas, waterproof fabric: continuous high-speed weaving, requiring automatic warp and stop to avoid equipment and material loss.
3. Weaving of special fabrics
Towel/looped fabric (rapier towel machine): Broken warp will cause uneven looped fabric and exposed bottom. 4/6 rows of warp stopping frames are standard.
Color woven and jacquard fabrics: multi colored warp yarns, complex structures, and quick positioning for broken warp. LED display stop frames are more commonly used.
High performance fibers such as glass fiber, carbon fiber, aramid, etc.: yarns are brittle and prone to breakage, and high-sensitivity breakage detection is necessary.
4. Manufacturing and matching of weaving machines
Rapier loom factory: As a standard configuration, it is manufactured (such as GA747, flexible/rigid rapier loom).
Textile equipment/accessories factory: produces warp stopping frames, warp stopping pieces, and warp stopping rods for weaving machine maintenance, upgrading, and renovation.
